Following the
launch of the innovative iCableholder, Universal
Concepts has just extended its group wide agreement
with Rotana Hotels for iCableholder starting with
the new Rotana Hotels opening in Kuwait and Sudan.
Rotana has chosen
the handy iCableholder as its brand standard for
in-room Broadband connectivity. This tidy desktop
unit provides hotel guests with access to the hotel’s
existing broadband access points without leaving
cables lying around, improving the overall appearance
of the room. “The unit ensures that guests
are aware that broadband access is available, leading
to higher levels of internet usage and greater revenues
for the hotel,” explains Abhishek Bose, general
manager of Universal Concepts.
“The in-built
card holder enables hotels to provide guests with
customised instructions on broadband access, as
well as providing an additional point of sale prompt,”
he adds.
“We chose
the iCableholder because it is a stylish, eye catching
unit that our guests will be confident using. What’s
more, because it is metal the unit is durable and
will be able to take a lot of frequent use from
our guests.” says Mr. Samir Abi Frem Vice-President
of IT, Rotana Group of Hotels. “We are confident
that this unit will be a welcome addition to our
guest rooms, and will enable our business travellers
to work faster while staying in our hotels,”
he adds.
Constructed from
the highest quality hard brushed metal, with a non-slip
base, the iCableholder offers clean lines and a
minimalist design to complement any guest room.
In the office
environment this unit is perfect for laptop users
as cables can be kept tidy while retaining easy
access. It can also be used in exhibition halls,
coffee shops, internet cafes and any other environment
with broadband availability.
The unit
is easily installed and comes with a one year warranty
